Famine Relief in Turkana Region

Kenya has seen one of the longest droughts in the last 40 years. It has lasted over 4 years, as the last long rains were in 2018. To help alleviate the suffering, Sri Sathya Sai Centre – Kenya organising a famine relief program in the Turkana region in Dec 2022, similar to the famine relief we carried out in Laikipia North in July 2022.
We will distribute a minimum of 1000 hampers. Each hamper will be 24 Kg containing unga (maize meal), beans, rice, greengrams, cooking fat, and salt. Each hamper can feed a family of 7 for 1 month.
