This Year 2018 is indeed a very Momentous and Historical Year for SSIO Kenya. We shall be completing 50 Glorious Years of Bhagawan having set Foot in Kenya outside of India for the first and last time. Swami Blessed Kenya when he landed in Nairobi on the 1st July 1968.

The first day of the Sri Sathya Sai Ghat inauguration was filled with ritualistic offerings to Mother Ganges. It was so nice to see Brother Veda Narayana and team from Prasanthi take up the whole proceedings with excellent rendition of relevant mantras for the occasion. It was so nice of the think tank to choose these noble souls instead of so called BIG priests many of whom have shifted their loyalties, after getting fame and name courtesy of Swami.
The live proceedings of the whole ceremony was icing on the cake and the whole team of SAIONE APP, Sri Sathya Sai Organisations need a special appreciation for this effort. At around 8:30PM, the blessed devotees took part in the Ganga arathi which was followed by Swami’s arathi in Rishikesh which indeed is an emotional moment for all the assembled devotees.

September 9, 2016 is going to be a HIStoric day for the whole Sathya Sai devotees community when the government of Uttarakhand state, appreciating the yeomen service done by Swami and His organisation to the humanity, will be dedicating a special GHAT ( a fleet of steps leading down to a river) named after our beloved Lord Sri Sathya Sai Baba in the holy city RISHIKESH. Sathya Sai devotees all over the world solemnly observe 24 April by remembering and practicing the teachings of Lord Sathya Sai, the Pari-purna Avatar, who left His physical form on this day. This year, the Aradhana Mahotsavam will be observed from 28 March through 27 April 2016, by Sathya Sai devotees globally, including India.

Sathya Sai Centre Nairobi, Kenya, organized a Gram Seva on the 25th March 2016 in Makindu District in Eastern Kenya.
Sathya Sai Volunteers distributed food packages and clothing to 1000 representative heads aged between 50 to 90 years of vulnerable families from four arid villages situated about 200km away east of Nairobi, Kenya. People from these villages are impoverished due to meager or no rainfall at all for successive years and depend on livestock farming under persistent drought conditions.

The latest product of the Sai Love Team from Puttaparthi is Bhagawan’s Handwritten Letters.
It’s a draft for an e-book and paperback book. These are 50 letters from the 1940s to 1960s, which have been translated from Telugu into English for your edification.
Sai Love would like to produce an e-book as well as paperback books. The first 1000 paperback books will be free for Sai Libraries, Sai Schools and Sai Centers.
They are a small group involved with this project. Anyone who would like to help can contact them at contact@sailove.org.
